The process of sharing ideas and knowledge with others is known as communication. Most people nowadays interact via email, social media, reports, and conversations, which allows them to keep in touch with others and stay connected.
In this subject, I learned more about Communication Cycle, which is made up of five steps that are essential for others to understand what we are trying to say:
· Sender
· Message
· Transmission and Noise
· Receiver
· Feedback

This cycle should be crystal clear and bug-free, as well as simple to comprehend. The Communication Process, which is important for understanding and decoding the message, is the most important aspect of communication that I have learned.
I learnt the 7C’s of communication which are:
1. Clear
2. Concise
3. Concrete
4. Correct
5. Coherent
6. Complete
7. Courteous
This method taught me learn how to communicate with someone without having complicated terms and phrases that only a few people understand, making my method of speaking complicated for them, reducing words which are unwanted, and phrases, avoiding spelling mistakes when sending a message, and also being patient and ensuring that the message received is understood by the listener.
I live in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and I’ve seen several instances of cross-cultural contact in which people prefer to communicate in their native language. The majority of people in the UAE are Indians, and they prefer to communicate in their native language because they feel more related to those who speak the same home language. I can talk in three languages: English, Tamil, and Malayalam, which gives me an advantage so that I can easily communicate with people who speak these languages.
I used to feel like I wasn’t interacting with people during the presentation, and now I realize why: it has to do with my body language and the language I spoke. Now I changed and developed since then, and I’m now using the models and methods listed above to gain confidence in my verbal communication.
According to the video shown in lecture by Amy Cuddy, talking with confidence including using body posture and hand gesture when talking will work wonders in helping the audience understand what I am trying to say and understand my words.
